Adidas, Jewel Changi Airport — Multi-Level Flagship Store Audio

At the Adidas flagship store in Jewel Changi Airport, Energycon Engineering deployed a high-fidelity Bose Professional soundscape across two levels of premium retail space — 25 speakers integrated into the store’s industrial design with the precise mounting and cabling a flagship brand fit-out demands.

The challenge

The installation spanned a two-storey retail environment with high ceilings and complex architectural features. Twenty-five speakers had to integrate into the store’s industrial design language, with distinct mounting requirements on each floor level.

Flagship retail comes with stringent interior standards: every bracket, cable run and speaker angle is part of the store’s look. The audio had to deliver full-range coverage while staying visually subordinate to the brand environment.

The system we installed

How it was engineered

Twenty Bose FreeSpace 3 surface satellites are positioned across both floors with optimised angling for the listening plane, while five FreeSpace 3 in-ceiling subwoofers sit concealed in the ceiling voids to carry the low end — full-range sound with almost nothing visible.

The multi-storey configuration runs on managed 100V line wiring, and commissioning closed with full system testing and zone-by-zone verification before handover.
